Most striking feature:
The best Scandinavian designers under one roof. Okay, it’s easy to go directly to Malene Birger or Day Birger et Mikkelsen when you’re in the Danish capital. But it’s much better to go to Kyoto. In here you will find stuff from Acne, Mini Market, cool Adidas sneakers, Happy Socks and Best Behavior. For men and women. Unfortunately I was there for an article and needed to spot other places as well, so I didn’t have the time to buy something. This is definitely the place to go when you want to dress yourself like a Scandinavian fashion queen.

Everything in here is Raw Food. A new healthy food movement. Raw Food is cooked till 42 degrees, that’s why they called the place 42Raw. In here you will find young people who want the best for their bodies. It’s a take-away concept, but you can also sit down on their bench. The food comes in beautiful packages. Nearby Hay, Malene Birger and other cool shops.

The artist of this poster tries to bring his experience of the cities he visited together in this print. I like the soft colors, the holiday feeling you get while watching in. I can’t find any ‘Buy Me’ button on the website, but I quess you have to sent them an e-mail if you want to know more. Also available: Paris, Berlin, Pisa, Key West, Miami beach, Oaxaca and Ko Pha Ngan.

In times where ‘Broke is the new Rich’ we, fashionista’s who love to travel, need to be creative. Shop at budget stores around the world for example. Nobody who notices it because it’s an original piece in your country. In London we go to Primark and Topshop, in Madrid to Stradivarius and Blanco and in the northern countries we go to Ginatricot. A high street chain who loves to get inspired by Malene Birger and Day. I bought a sailers jacket for 70 euro last year (see image at my About page) and still get compliments. So a trip to Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo isn’t complete with a visit to Ginatricot.
My shoppinglist:
Beige pull: 21 euro
Striped sjawl: 13 euro
Gold laptop sleeve: 21 euro
Jacket: 40 euro
Socks with hearts: 4 euro
Total: 99 euro.

- To have a late night drink on their rooftop with great views over the city.
