TRIED & TESTED: PROEF AMSTERDAM

July 18, 2010

Most striking feature:

The details. Imagine this: you enter an old industrial building with yellow picknick tables in the garden. You sit down at one of the chairs and your eye directly falls upon a lovely blanc notebook. Open it (the menu is stuck in it) and you immediately get creative. Because in this book they ask you to draw the person next to you or to answer what you hope would happen this night. I ordered a glass of apple juice. Not served in a normal glass, but in a jar. There is a text on the balconny made of marshmellows. And the smell of freshly baked food does the rest. Absolutely worth a visit!

NEW SPOT: PROEF AMSTERDAM

proef amsterdam

3 reasons to eat here:

  1. If you like to try new things and are willing to share different bites with your partner.
  2. If you like ‘honest cooking’. Everything is produced in their own garden (just like Villa Augustus in Dordrecht).
  3. If you like to sit outside on picknick tables.

Read my report and see some images after the jump…
