VIKTOR & ROLF FLYING HIGH

March 25, 2011

On my bucket list: flying Business Class to some far away destination. That better be with KLM because they teamed up with Dutch fashion duo Viktor & Rolf and now you get a fantastic amenity kit made by them. In it you’ll find a toothbrush, toothpaste, comfortable socks, eye mask, lip balm, pen and ear plugs. Oh, and there’s another extra when flying Business Class: the table ware is designed by Marcel Wanders.

NEW SPOT: STUDIO JOB GALLERY ANTWERP

April 3, 2010

3 reasons to visit the Studio Job Art Gallery:

  1. To see the work of Dutch designcollective Studio Job.
  2. And friends of them (read: Viktor & Rolf. Studio Job designed the furniture for the shows of that Dutch fashion duo).
  3. To get inspired.

NEWSFLASH: VIKTOR & ROLF CAKE PARIS

April 1, 2010

Normally I don’t blog about chains. Since I’ve seen the Hotel Zone in Cancun and the uglyness of all the big names in the hotel scene over there, I prefer small designhotels. But then there is Le Meurice in Paris, part of the Dorchester Collection. Their pattisier is coming straight out of heaven for creating this adorable Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb cakes. Wouldn’t you just love to try them?
