I visited London in March and from the beginning of April there’s a fantastic weekly market happening just 15 minutes walking from the hotel I was staying. And for me it’s a reason to book another ticket. Look at what they are selling: stuff young designers make and you instantly want to have for yourself. It’s a perfect place to get presents as well. Every Saturday till September 24th.

Oh God, this is my first video. I’m a bit insecure about getting on camera and afterwards I see that I didn’t mention a lot of things. The bath isn’t only good if you’re there with the boyfriend, because it’s one of the most relaxing baths I’ve taken in a while (very deep and large, but I’m only 1.67 meter so I can’t talk for the tall ladies and gents). l’Occitane is from the Provence and not from Paris. We didn’t use the camera in the right angle (lesson for the next time) and I talk in my native language (sorry guys, I hope you get the feeling and I will definitely try to figure out how to get some subtitles on it). That said: I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the hotel room!

Please let me know what you think and what I can improve for the next video 🙂

Most striking feature:

We all like design. But design is nothing without the little extra’s. At Townhall Hotel they understand that. A funny detail like a rubber duck, fabulous bath amenities from l’Occitane, bathrobes next to the hot heater (so when you step out of your bath you’re hugged by the warmness of the bathrobes, extra points!!), chocolates next to the bed, a daily delivered newspaper, fluffy blankets. We stayed in the smallest room (and I think it’s quite big with a bath and a seating area). Next to the hotel you will find Viajante restaurant and their bar (where we ordered some cocktails). The location of the hotel is confusing cab drivers (they don’t know where Patriot Square is, so hint them to Bethnal Green), but great for everyone who want to discover East London.

Booked by Mr and Mrs Smith for 300 euro (2 nights)
