March 20, 2011

3 reasons to go there:

  1. If you like sweet little pies, muffins or cupcakes.
  2. If you want to have a stuffed Sunday afternoon brunch.
  3. If you’re a foodie: and want to buy some local delicatessen to bring home.

LIKE TO HAVE: IPHONE NOTEBOOK at VINCON

September 26, 2010

If you’re visiting Madrid or Barcelona make sure you stop at Vincon. Vincon is a Spanish department store with all things design. You can buy the best gifts, but they also sell expensive furniture. I like their calendars and their funny gadgets like this Iphone Notebook (6 euro). I’ve been in both stores, but this photo is taken in Madrid.

TRIED & TESTED: CLARITA MADRID

May 6, 2010

Most striking feature:

If you’re an anorexic, don’t go to Clarita. The lunch contents of three courses. I had a salad as a starter, something with chicken and potatoes (which was delicious)¬†as the main dish and an icecream with tea as dessert. My stomach had a hard time to digest everything while shopping. But hey, we’re in Spain. The lunches are a big thing here and dinner doesn’t take place until 22/23 o’clock in the evening. Oh and do you know what me and my sister paid? 25 euro. Including wine.
