This contest has ended at february 7 2011. See the winner over here.

Oh yes! I’m so proud to introduce you to the first contest ever on my site! If there is only one restaurant you have to go to this moment it’s Mazzo in Amsterdam. Read all about it here. And you can win a dinner for 75 euro in that fabulous establishment!

How can you win?

Send me a self made picture of a hotspot on Petite Passport where you’ve been (or upload one on my Facebook page). Can be every where in the world. The best one wins. Easy!

On February 7th I will announce the winner on my site (and let you know by mail).

You can send the picture(s) to: or upload them here

Good luck!

Most striking feature:

The Dear Ingo Pendant chandelier from Moooi. It’s like five spiders inspecting the restaurant area. That in combination with chalkboard walls, different seating area’s (restaurant, lounge and bar) and an huge MAZZO sign at the entrance makes this the grown up sister from Witteveen. Okay enough about the design, what about the food? We ordered a pizza pear and gorgonzola (14,50 euro) and it tasted delicious (a bit too crusty, but a good combination between the pear and cheese). Mazzo is open from breakfast till late: definitely a place to return. Because this is one of the popular places in Amsterdam right now, make sure to book a table in advance.

Mazzo did have beautiful professional pictures. If you want to see them, check out Wejetset: a blog worth following. These are my not so professional photos. But you’ll get the picture 😉

I love all the work of IQ Creative. They are responsible for the existence of The Supperclub, Witteveen and Nevy (among others). Mazzo is their newest venue (to be opened halfway through october) and it’s all about Italy. Come in for a espresso at the start of your day or enjoy a great dinner in the evening. Just like Witteveen they will try to create an atmosphere like a living room. Cozy, warm and easy going.
