LIKE TO HAVE: BODYLOTION Aesop

July 24, 2010

When I stayed in le Studio 22 in Paris the bathroom was filled with Aesop goodies. I was afraid to use it, because I didn’t want to. It looks so stunning that you only want to keep it in your bathroom on a special shelf. That’s exactly what the owners think based on the beautiful Aesop stores around the world. In september there is a new one opening in Paris, but you can find Aesop stores in London, Zurich, Tokyo, Basel, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and ofcourse in Australia (the home of Aesop).

This bodylotion is perfect as an after shower treatment for your skin. Price: 75 euro.

He said goodbye to the catwalk, but fashion designer Valentino isn’t ready to only enjoy the sun and walk his cute little dogs. No, his new project is a museum. No need to search for property: his Château de Wideville will take care of it. Located just outside Paris. It is set to open in July – when the Fashion Circus will begin.

This information came from Chicsetera: a really cool Paris blog. Definitely worth to follow.

TRIED & TESTED: POPMARKET PARIS

April 19, 2010

Most striking feature:

Apart from the pink exterior of the shop? Well this is the best giftshop ever. It’s situated near Canal Saint Martin and it sells everything from jewelry to stickers. From kids to kitchen. And not expensive at all. I’ll bet it takes you some time to discover all their great stuff.

TRIED & TESTED: MERCI PARIS

April 19, 2010

Most striking feature:

The red vintage Fiat 500 welcomes you at the door. Inside you’ll find a café (I’ve ordered the goat cheese salad and it was amazing), a flowerist and a small department store which sells fashion, furniture and stationary. So I bought a stamp with Merci on it and a little notebook.
