A visit to London isn’t complete with a visit to Topshop on Oxford Street. Even Ellen Pompeo, Meredith in Grey’s Anatomy, thinks so (as being told in an interview I had with her). She has a good reason to come back, now she gave birth to her first child, because Topshop now has a children’s line. And it’s very adorable. I don’t have to tell that they sell fashion for women, bags, shoes and accessories as well, don’t I?

Selfridges is hosting Dutch design. If you hear that you’ll think of items of Marcel Wanders, Hella Jongerius and other great Dutch names. But they keep it small and simple. You will find the wallets of Keecie, chocolate of Tony Chocolony and paperwork of Jurianne Matter. The shop is a cooperation with Yksi design in Eindhoven. It’s a temporarily exhibition (till March 24).

Oh yes! If Topshop is coming to my hometown, it’s gonna be very (read: very) hard for my bank account. And with me for a lot of fellow fashionista’s. But what if the lady behind the counter of the supermarket is wearing the cool heart printed vest (aka 60 euro) that you really liked? Bye bye must have factor.

Is the Oxford Street trip worth the originality? Or is your closet screaming for more Topshop than your luggage can carry from London back home?
