NEW SPOT: HOTEL AMERICANO NEW YORK

January 21, 2011

New, new, new! Ace hotel and Standard hotel watch out: there’s a new kid in town. A Mexican kid. And you know about their laid back style: hammocks, design chairs, cool printed blankets. Mix it together with Grupo Habita and the coolest hotel in New York arrives (spring 2011). Even if I didn’t see any pictures yet, I already know that I want to go there! You?

TRIED & TESTED: LLOYD HOTEL AMSTERDAM

July 29, 2010

Most striking feature:

The groupie room. There is a room with an extra, extra large bed. Let’s say: six beds next to eachother. Perfect for popstars with their groupies. The Lloyd Hotel has rooms for every budget. From bunk bed rooms to a honeymoon suite. The lobby is also worth visiting: have an applecake with a friend or organise a brainstorm with your colleagues. Next year the hotel is opening a new hotel on the Dam in Amsterdam, which rumours to be the Dutch version of the Michelberger hotel in Berlin. Love it!

From 95 euro to 450 euro. Check out: www.lloydhotel.com
