LIKE TO HAVE: MYKITA GUGGENHEIM GLASSES

February 4, 2011

Agathe Snow is an artist from New York. The Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin hosts an exhibition about her work and Mykita decided to make a limited edition pair of sunglasses with the artist. Inspiration: the Guggenheim. I love the fact that’s a limited edition and that it’s pink. That color fits perfectly with my car 😉

Available at the Museum Shop and the brandstores of Mykita for 370 euro.

LIKE TO HAVE: AN ALLSAINTS WARDROBE

November 25, 2010

I fell in love with All Saints when I was in London a couple of years ago. I visited their flagshipstore in Spitalfields and loved the soft fabric and the twisted details. For a moment I thought of Rick Owens – but that’s impossible for that prices. It’s a bit rough – not for the girly, girly type of woman. On this wednesdaynight I did some online shopping and these are my favorites:

Clockwise, from left to right:

1. Jumper (cool with a leather legging): 295 euro
2. Scarf: 47 euro
3. Top: 55 euro
4. Denim short: 59 euro
5. The most beautiful purse ever: 59 euro
6. Leather skinny jeans: 177 euro

  2. If you like Asian food.
  3. To try one of their funny named dishes like: Duck in Pyjamas or Chicken little (each bowl 3 euro).

LIKE TO HAVE: RICK OWENS at APARTMENT

November 6, 2010

If there’s only one shop to for fans of Rick Owens in Berlin, it’s called Apartment. It’s a dark, underground shop in Mitte. I visited their webshop to see what’s hot and new at this moment. I like the warm wintercoat of Rick Owens (2800 euro) and his shoes (890 euro). But they sell more affordable items as well. Like this Cheap Monday jeans for 50 euro.

LIKE TO HAVE: STUFF at GINATRICOT

November 3, 2010

In times where ‘Broke is the new Rich’ we, fashionista’s who love to travel, need to be creative. Shop at budget stores around the world for example. Nobody who notices it because it’s an original piece in your country. In London we go to Primark and Topshop, in Madrid to Stradivarius and Blanco and in the northern countries we go to Ginatricot. A high street chain who loves to get inspired by Malene Birger and Day. I bought a sailers jacket for 70 euro last year (see image at my About page) and still get compliments. So a trip to Copenhagen, Stockholm or Oslo isn’t complete with a visit to Ginatricot.

My shoppinglist:

Beige pull: 21 euro
Striped sjawl: 13 euro
Gold laptop sleeve: 21 euro
Jacket: 40 euro
Socks with hearts: 4 euro

Total: 99 euro.

LIKE TO HAVE: LINGERIE WITH STARS ON IT

November 3, 2010

If you’ve been to Paris, you know that you’ll find a Princess Tam Tam on every street corner. I love their lingerie. Because, sorry big breasted girls, they sell pretty bras in small sizes. And that’s a hard thing to find in the Netherlands. I like their new serie with stars on it. And in summer I want to have every bikini. Check it out when you’re in Paris.
